Jengyu Lai, DPM
Dr. Jengyu Lai is the Chief Manager of Rochester Clinic and has been providing podiatric and wound care for almost a decade. Originally from Taichung, Taiwan, where he earned his college degree in Microbiology, Dr. Lai earned his DPM (Doctor of Podiatric Medicine) at the College of Podiatric Medicine at Des Moines University in Iowa, where he received a fellowship in Biomechanics Research. After staying on to complete his residency in podiatric orthopedics, he was awarded a post-doctoral fellowship in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Mayo Foundation College of Medicine in Rochester, MN.
Dr. Lai loved Rochester so much that he decided to stay after he completed his fellowship, and has been caring for patients in need of his expertise here ever since. He is a wound specialist certified by the American Academy of Wound Management, and has extensive experience in working with long-term care facilities. Dr. Lai is dedicated to running Rochester Clinic as a source of comprehensive and high quality care, and takes pride in providing patients with a personalized and friendly experience. When he is not at the clinic, Dr. Lai enjoys outdoors and spends time with his lovely wife and children.
